A Vision Board or a Dream Board is usually a collage or collection of images and affirmations that an individual places and collects to further seek what their interests in life are and to have a clearer sense of what they aspire to be in the future.

Having a vision board not only shows your artistic side on things, but it also encompasses what your ideal self will be like in a certain time frame in one’s life path (side note: it’s cool to have and display to in your room or workspace to keep on building, altering or admiring). Going through it with careful thought process will also ensure a more firmer grasp of desires and ambitions that you really want to achieve (i’m really trying to stretch the word “achieve” for this…it’s not that deep but it is in a sense).

This is my Vision board, and it contains all of the things that i have achieved or will be achieving in my course of life. You would be able to see different clusters of how my brain works or maybe a big pile of randomness… well now wait, hold on now, okay? Actually it is quite random but everything here has tropes of what i genuinely like. For example, my ambition to become a SCOUT MAGAZINE writer, or become an anchor for a segment in CNN Life and it just goes on. It would also consist of what i want to improve more and the things that i am dearly familiar and good at, stuff like being an official choreographer for ARTWORK CREW (A local-soon-to-be-national dance crew here in H-town Baguio) Showing the sense of “patriotism” to my UNI, hence placing the logo of the school that will help and guide me to have more clearer sense of things in my chosen field or course (Mass Communications)

Not only am i doing this because of it being a prerequisite for my University, but also it showcases my ambitions and what i really want to be achieving in my life after 4 years in Uni. Maybe go back to school after i get a stable job? Maybe start building up my portfolio for my possible career job? Maybe go and clasp my ambition as a dancer and performer? Who knows, but one things is for certain, the ultimate main goal is to just enjoy the course of life and where it will take you based on your deeds and actions.

Overall, having a Vision board is something that one can treasure and look back into once you start to follow your career road map to success. So here’s to more dreaming, aspiring and reaching for us in the future! May all of us prosper and reach our dreams that are as high as the sky!
