A guide to effective communication is to ensure that there will be no misleading encounters that would part take, whether it may be in one”s personal life, inside the workplace or in school. Here’s me speaking in a student’s sense and what i have learned so far from my first semester.

Communication has gone through all walks of life and has progressed also on how a person can use it to become a truthful and prosper advocate of mass communication as it help the students, but also to prepare them. Some notes that I was able to take down from the unit take away was that to become efficient in communicating and reaching out using this universal instrument, we must know how it works, preferably the realms that make up the elements and different models of communication; from the communicator to the receiver and finding out how to cancel out interference and the various barriers for smooth and effective message sending to one another in both figurative and literal claims.

Another one to mention would be how to give concrete solutions by the usage of the three effective barriers to effective communication. It is important to know that one should not presuppose and not being judgmental for the listener to hear and understand what is being said. It is also possible to minimize unwanted scenarios is by being open to assumptions, bias, cultural differences and interpersonal relationships. Lastly when having mixed messages, a good communicator should also think very carefully about the salient points that he/she will be discussing to the other party, thus by using words and vocabulary that are suited to the situation of the other half will benefit both and both can actually enjoy the time that they have discussed.

Overall, it would just rely on one’s comfortableness.
